Job Summary:
The Technical Writer develops and maintains clear, standardized documentation supporting global Service Operations, Salesforce Service Cloud, service processes, applications, and operational programs. This role partners with technical and business teams to translate complex processes into usable documentation for internal teams, partners, and other stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Develop SOPs, process guides, work instructions, knowledge articles, training references, and technical documentation.
- Document Salesforce Service Cloud workflows, applications, integrations, and operational processes.
- Partner with Service Operations, PMO, Application Development, Training, and subject matter experts to capture requirements and processes.
- Maintain documentation standards, templates, version control, and content governance.
- Convert complex technical information into concise, user-friendly content.
- Review and update documentation as systems and processes change.
- Support knowledge management and documentation readiness for new programs and system releases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of technical writing or documentation experience in technology, service operations, or enterprise applications.
- Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, user guides, and knowledge content.
- Experience documenting Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and operational concepts.
Salary Range
$100,000 - $125,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
