JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Senior Analyst to join the Finance Business Partner team supporting the Sourcing organization, responsible for analyzing trading performance, identifying key drivers and translating data into meaningful business insights.
This role sits at the intersection of Data, Finance and Commercial, providing visibility into how market dynamics and commercial decisions impact business performance. The successful candidate will partner closely with Sourcing teams, Trading Hub and Finance stakeholders to deliver performance analysis, robust forecasts and actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Own the analysis and explanation of the business performance across regions, products and segments, providing clear visibility into the key drivers.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards and automated reporting solutions using SQL and Python to optimize processes and improve decision-making efficiency.
- Support the Budget and Forecast processes, partnering with business stakeholders to build robust assumptions and accurate performance projections.
- Analyze performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year, identifying key drivers related to volume, mix, market dynamics and sourcing initiatives.
- Act as a trusted business partner to Sourcing, Pricing and Trading Hub teams, providing insights into topline evolution, trading margin performance and profitability drivers.
- Develop scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of commercial decisions, sourcing activity and market conditions.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Deliver regular reporting and strategic ad-hoc analyses to Finance, Commercial and Senior Management teams.
Skillset and Experience Required
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Business analytics, Data Analytics, Commercial Finance, Performance Analyst or a similar analytical role within a multinational environment.
- Ability to understand financial and operational data, synthesize findings and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Strong experience of BI tools and data visualization, particularly Tableau.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong SQL skills; experience with Python is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Fluent English required; Spanish is an advantage.
- Experience within the travel, hospitality or tourism industry is a plus.
