We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused Manual QA Tester to ensure software applications function correctly and meet established quality standards before release. The ideal candidate will have strong testing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify, reproduce, document, and communicate software defects clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases and test scenarios to verify software functionality.
  • Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, checklists, and testing documentation.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs and defects.
  • Provide clear descriptions, reproduction steps, expected results, and actual results for reported issues.
  • Retest resolved defects to confirm fixes are working as expected.
  • Perform regression testing after new features, updates, or bug fixes.
  • Test web applications across different browsers, devices, and environments when required.
  • Validate application behavior against business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other teams to investigate and resolve defects.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress.
  • Participate in release testing and quality validation activities.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing when required.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and documentation.
