About the team:

PRIME DevOps is the team responsible for our CLOUD implementations. The team provides and manages both the infrastructure and the surrounding automation required for our applications to operate in the cloud. It works closely not only with other internal teams but with existing and potential clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

What you will be doing:

Along with the rest of the DevOps team, you will be responsible to maintain and enhance our architecture and define the roadmap and operations of the DevOps team in relation to automation, Kubernetes, Kafka and other related technologies for our development and client production infrastructure. You will work on building, scaling, and monitoring such services in relation to our applications (PRIME) and making our infrastructure highly available.

The key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Automate new requests
  • Support our existing CLOUD infrastructure (EKS / MSK / S3 / EC2)
  • Support and enhance our existing framework stack (automation, pipelines)
  • Support our existing CLOUD implementations and be part of the new launches
  • Support our internal application teams as well our clients

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related area
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing (preferably AWS)
  • Basic understanding of RestAPIs
  • Hands-on experience with the following:
  • GIT (either Bitbucket or GitHub)
  • Shell scripting (Bash and/or PowerShell)

Added bonus if you have:

  • 1+ year in DevOps or application development role
  • Knowledge of containerization like Kubernetes, Docker
  • Kafka
  • Basic understanding of the TLS setup
  • Jenkins pipelines / Groovy
  • AWS CLI
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with terraform / CloudFormation.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 27,550.00 – EUR 36,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
