AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer (React, Next.js, PHP)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer (React, Next.js, PHP) based in Brazil.

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to build, enhance, and maintain scalable, modern web applications. In this role, you will contribute across the entire development lifecycle, combining frontend expertise with backend engineering. You will work primarily with React, Next.js, PHP, and modern web technologies to deliver high-quality digital solutions. A key aspect of the position is integrating AI-powered coding tools into your daily workflow to accelerate development and improve engineering efficiency. You will leverage solutions such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor for coding, debugging, testing, and technical problem-solving. Working alongside distributed international teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions and build impactful products. Accountabilities:

•

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, and PHP.

•

Build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly frontend interfaces while developing robust backend services, APIs, and business logic.

•

Integrate frontend applications with backend systems, databases, and third-party services through REST APIs and other integration solutions.

•

Incorporate AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor into everyday development workflows to improve productivity and code quality.

•

Use AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, automated testing, documentation, code reviews, and complex technical problem-solving.

•

Ensure application performance, security, scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

•

Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions while contributing to continuous improvements in engineering practices.

Requirements:

•

5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with strong hands-on expertise in React, Next.js, and PHP.

•

Advanced English proficiency (B2, C1, or C2), with the ability to communicate effectively within international and distributed teams.

•

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript, modern frontend development practices, and responsive interface design.

•

Professional experience developing backend services with PHP and building and integrating REST APIs.

•

Practical, everyday experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent solutions.

•

Solid understanding of databases, backend architecture, application scalability, and modern web development principles.

•

Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

•

Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical tasks, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

•

Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.

•

Knowledge of SQL and relational database management.

•

Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

•

Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.

•

Exposure to AI integrations, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI-powered application development.
