Meta is looking for a Product Manager to drive product strategy and execution for a defined product area within one of Meta's core platforms. In this role, you will partner with engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to identify user needs, define product direction, and deliver meaningful outcomes at scale. You will be responsible for translating complex, ambiguous problems into clear product strategies, setting measurable goals, and aligning cross-functional teams to execute against them. This role requires a balance of analytical rigor, user empathy, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for a loosely defined product area, setting short, mid, and long-term goals aligned to business priorities
- Identify and prioritize the most impactful product problems by synthesizing user research, market signals, and quantitative data
- Partner with engineering, design, data science, and research to develop product requirements and drive execution from concept through launch
- Establish and track success metrics to evaluate product performance and inform ongoing prioritization decisions
- Analyze the impact of business and market changes on the product area and implement appropriate adjustments to strategy and roadmap
- Communicate product strategy, progress, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders at all levels, adapting the message to the audience
- Engage leaders and cross-functional partners to build alignment and gain support for new product directions and opportunities
- Openly share roadmap priorities and project status with key stakeholders, incorporating their input into planning processes
- Contribute to team-level goal setting and help identify gaps between product components to design and deliver cohesive solutions
- Provide feedback and guidance to peers and cross-functional partners to improve product quality and team effectiveness
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with demonstrated ownership of a significant product area
- Experience defining product vision, writing product requirements, and driving cross-functional teams through multiple product lifecycle phases
- Experience using quantitative data and user research to inform product decisions and influence stakeholder prioritization
- Experience managing tradeoffs and making timely product decisions in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
- Experience communicating complex product strategies and decisions in writing and verbally to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing frameworks to structure decision-making across qualitative and quantitative inputs in ambiguous problem spaces
- Experience using staged rollout and A/B testing frameworks to validate product hypotheses and measure impact
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience contributing to team-level strategy and influencing organizational priorities beyond a single product area
- Experience building and scaling consumer or platform products with large, diverse user bases
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
