Job Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. The candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems, scripting, and automation tools, as well as a deep understanding of networking and high availability systems. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment processes, and maintaining high system reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of production systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Maintain and enhance configuration management and automation tools.
- Ensure security and compliance across all systems and applications.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Qualifications
Must have requirements:
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
- Strong scripting skills with Bash.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and BGP.
- Experience with containerization and bare metal servers, including tools like Tomcat and Nginx.
- Expertise in high availability systems, including HAProxy and IPVS.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with and create comprehensive documentation.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Polish (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken.
Nice to have requirements:
- RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) certifications.
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certifications.
- LPIC-2 (Linux Professional Institute Certification) certifications.
- Proficiency in Perl or Python scripting languages.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logs and traces.
- Experience with GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment.
- Knowledge of alerting and monitoring tools like Alertmanager and Check_MK.
- Experience with databases such as MariaDB and Redis.
