Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: The Sr. Financial Analyst position will serve as a direct financial partner to various functions, such as accounting and various overhead department heads. The position will be responsible for providing key analytical support around various analysis related to overhead cost and/or Capex spend. This position will also have an active role in reviewing a variety of financial data to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives, and drive positive change. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis (budget vs. actual)
  • Partner with department leaders to track spend against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Track, record, and summarize capital expenditures across business units, ensuring accurate categorization and alignment with budgeted capex plans
  • Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports to business stakeholders
  • Support month-end close activities in coordination with the accounting team
  • Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
  • Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates across business units
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist in preparing materials for executive and board-level presentations
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models
  • Help maintain and improve financial reporting tools, templates, and processes
  • Assist in process implementation and manage various initiatives from a financial perspective
  • Build and foster relationships throughout the organization, creating an environment of collaboration
  • Review and analyze large volumes of data with the ability to produce findings that are easy to understand
  • Maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
  • Financial systems experience preferred, Oracle’s Essbase a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting system preferred
  • Strong FP&A analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to complete duties with limited direct supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with a team as well as on one’s own
  • Ability to transform raw data into clear and actionable findings
