About Epta
Join Epta UK Contracting Solutions department Format team as a Project Manager. You will play a key role in delivering high quality AC&R installations to our customers. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working in a passionate team that will support your development every step of the way.
This is an exciting permanent home-based role offering 37.5 hours of flexible working per week, with occasional travel to our Ringwood office. You will benefit from autonomy to manage your own schedule while delivering projects to the highest standard. The position also includes company car, car allowance or salary sacrifice vehicle options, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Evening and weekend working may be required from time to time.
Project Manager
The ideal candidate will take ownership of AC&R projects from survey, design and quotation stage, through to delivery and completion, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and in the most cost-effective way. You will work directly for the Format Operations Manager, coordinating with internal teams and nominated subcontractors to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design & Project Management: Carry out surveys and meetings in order to design and successfully project manage AC&R projects to Co-op specification.
- Team & Resource Coordination: Liaise with other project managers, internal engineers and subcontractors. Handle procurement of equipment and materials to support efficient project delivery from approved suppliers and manufacturers.
- Client & Supplier Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, suppliers, and manufacturers, resolving technical issues and ensuring projects are snag-free.
- Compliance & Standards: To ensure compliance / adherence with company policies, procedures and documentation particularly those matters of health & safety, environment and quality. Maintaining project documentation and files in line with Epta UK quality standards.
- Administration & Financial Control: Liaise with administration team to, approve relevant invoices, credits/warranties and manage contract costs in line with agreed budgets and company procedures.
Your Journey (Skills & Competencies)
Here at Epta we deliver high quality installations along with a high level of customer service, from first contact with a customer and initial survey through to completion and handover. You will also ensure all work is completed in line with H&S regulations.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design and delivery of AC&R projects, preferably within the convenience retail sector.
- A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team with excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- A process-driven approach to project delivery, ensuring consistency and quality throughout with the ability to cope with changing demands and work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills in all forms including written, verbal, e-mail and telephone being proficient in IT, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and the use of handheld mobile devices.
