About the Role
We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to own the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Salesforce environment. You'll be the go-to expert supporting internal users across multiple business units, ensuring data integrity, and partnering closely with stakeholders to improve processes and unlock more value from the platform.
This is a hands-on administrator and business systems role. This is not a developer position. You should be highly comfortable with Salesforce configuration and declarative automation via Flow. Custom development (Apex, Lightning Web Components) and complex integrations are handled by an internal development team or implementation partner, which you'll coordinate with as needed.
Our Salesforce ecosystem includes Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, core CRM, and ITSM capabilities, so experience across these areas is highly valued.
What You'll Do
- User Access & Security: Administer user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings.
- Platform Configuration: Build and maintain custom fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and Flows to support evolving business needs.
- Reporting & Insights: Design and maintain reports and dashboards that give business teams and leadership actionable visibility.
- User Support & Enablement: Serve as first-line support for end users — troubleshoot issues, deliver training, and produce clear documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Data Quality: Own data hygiene through regular audits, deduplication, cleanup initiatives, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Change Management: Test and validate Salesforce releases, coordinate platform changes, and manage sandbox-to-production deployments.
- Business Partnership: Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Service, Revenue Operations, and IT to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Integration Oversight: Monitor the health of Salesforce integrations and coordinate with developers or implementation partners when deeper technical work is required.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a business environment
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration: profiles, permission sets, page layouts, validation rules, record types
- Proficiency with Flow automation (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Scheduled Flows)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into declarative Salesforce solutions
- Experience supporting end users, delivering training, and creating documentation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (cases, queues, entitlements, omni-channel)
- Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing) or similar quote-to-cash tooling
- Experience supporting an ITSM function on Salesforce (or familiarity with ServiceNow / Jira Service Management for context)
- Additional certifications: Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Service Cloud Consultant
- Experience with data tools such as Data Loader, DemandTools, or DataLoader.io
- Familiarity with change management and sandbox strategy in a multi-team org
What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months
- Fully ramped as the point of contact for user support, access requests, and small enhancement requests
- Established a rhythm of data quality audits and reporting for stakeholders
- Delivered at least one meaningful process improvement in partnership with a business team
- Built strong working relationships with the development team and implementation partners
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000, based on experience. In addition, we offer:
- Comprehensive Benefits Package
- 401K plus company match
- 9 paid company holidays
- 3 weeks PTO + 1 week sick leave
- Opportunities for growth & development
Thanks for your interest in Dedicated IT!
