Job Description
The Finance Data & Insights Team is an agile product team responsible for developing, supporting, and transforming financial data and reporting capabilities across Consumer and Community Banking. Our goal is to improve productivity, strengthen controls, and increase business value by using modern data, analytics, automation, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.
As a Product Manager (Vice President) within the Consumer and Community Banking Finance Data & Insights organization supporting Controllers, Treasury, and cross–line-of-business products, you will build and manage a portfolio of finance automation initiatives. You will partner closely with Controllers, Treasury Analytics, and Technology teams to identify high-value opportunities, define product priorities, and promote delivery from discovery through adoption. This role requires strong product management fundamentals, deep knowledge of finance processes, and the ability to communicate clearly with senior finance leaders. You will translate complex business challenges into practical product opportunities, articulate the “art of the possible,” and ensure solutions are grounded in user needs, measurable value, control requirements, and realistic delivery plans. You will also work closely with technology partners to leverage automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities that advance the firm’s finance transformation agenda.
This role requires strong product management fundamentals, finance process knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly with senior finance leaders. The ideal candidate can translate business challenges into practical product opportunities, explain the “art of the possible,” and ensure solutions are grounded in user needs, measurable value, control expectations, and realistic delivery plans. This role should be comfortable working with technology partners and understanding how automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities can support finance transformation.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and continuously refine the product roadmap, providing clear visibility into milestone timing, dependencies, and delivery progress
- Partner with senior Finance, Controller, Treasury, Product, Technology, Design, and Data stakeholders to align on business priorities and execution plans
- Lead product discovery and requirements definition by partnering with stakeholders to understand business processes, user needs, pain points, control requirements, and data dependencies, translating insights into prioritized product plans and delivery-ready requirements
- Prioritize the roadmap and backlog based on business value, feasibility, risk, stakeholder impact, control considerations, and strategic alignment
- Communicate the “art of the possible” to senior finance management, helping stakeholders understand how automation and AI-enabled capabilities can improve productivity, insight generation, controls, and user experience
- Partner with technology and analytics teams to drive delivery execution, manage risks and dependencies, and provide stakeholders with clear visibility into progress and outcomes
- Drive adoption and benefits realization by partnering with users and leaders to embed capabilities into business processes and measure outcomes
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management, finance transformation, financial reporting, business analysis, data and analytics, or related roles
- Demonstrated experience owning product roadmaps, prioritization, and backlog management
- Experience partnering with Finance, Controllers, Treasury, and cross-functional teams to understand business processes, align stakeholders, document requirements, and deliver data, analytics, or automation solutions
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into clear product requirements, user stories, process flows, and implementation priorities that drive measurable business outcomes
- Experience delivering products in an agile environment and working across business and technology teams to drive iterative solution delivery
- Ability to develop business cases and success measures, including productivity benefits, control improvements, cycle-time reduction, scalability, adoption, and reduced manual effort
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Prior experience in product support, product ownership, or business management roles supporting finance or controller processes
- Practical understanding of AI, LLMs, automation, or advanced analytics concepts, with the ability to identify where these capabilities can improve business processes and user productivity
- Experience with financial data platforms, reporting tools, or modern data environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, data warehouses, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with enterprise AI and productivity tools such as Copilot, LLM Suite, Genie, Spotter, or similar capabilities
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, access management, and control expectations in a financial services environment
- Ability to influence without direct authority and drive outcomes across senior stakeholder groups and matrixed teams
