Flexera is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the identity, governance and notifications capabilities of our Technology Intelligence Platform. This strategic role owns shared, horizontal platform services, including access management and fine-grained authorization, a cross-product user consolidation initiative, and the notifications platform, that are relied upon across the entire Flexera portfolio and partner ecosystem. It requires a blend of technical acumen, customer insight, and a deep understanding of identity and access management, delivered in partnership with product leadership, architecture, engineering, support and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the platform’s access management, authorization, user management, service accounts, identity APIs and user lifecycle management capabilities.
  • Own a strategic user consolidation initiative, establishing a single canonical user across products as the foundation for accurate licensing, defensible SaaS optimization and AI cost intelligence, driving a phased rollout across product, UX, UI, platform and architecture.
  • Own the notifications platform, including notification APIs, white-labeled and partner-branded emails, partner email-domain support, scheduling, and identity email modernization across multiple product and platform use cases.
  • Advance identity and access management self-service modernization, automating role and capability creation, user and organization offboarding, compliance improvements, and reducing operational support burden.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, sales, support and partners to drive product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop user stories, define requirements, and prioritize the backlog to align with customer expectations and business goals, translating strategic initiatives into a monthly delivery model.
  • Work closely with the identity and notifications engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, enterprise-ready features.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess platform performance and inform product decisions.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert and single point of product ownership for identity, governance and notifications, providing guidance and thought leadership both internally and externally.
  • Support high-visibility enterprise engagements and escalations that touch identity, credential management and authorization, and maintain a keen understanding of industry trends, competition and platform and security updates that may impact our capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful platform capabilities, preferably in SaaS or cloud-based environments.
  • Deep domain expertise in identity and access management, including authentication, authorization, fine-grained authorization, entitlements, user lifecycle and identity APIs.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to engage with engineers on detailed technical discussions on architecture and security.
  • Experience owning shared or horizontal platform services consumed by multiple product teams, and managing competing cross-product demand.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Experience in agile development environments and familiarity with product management tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Willingness to travel and engage with customers, partners, and internal teams globally.
