Job Responsibilities• Identify and develop new business opportunities by understanding clients’ operational needs and translating them into feasible project solutions.

  • Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including project scope, costing, pricing, timelines, resource requirements, deliverables, and risk registers.
  • Develop project financial models covering revenue, cost structure, margins, cash flow, and project profitability.
  • Collaborate with technical, operational, finance, and project teams to ensure proposed solutions are commercially competitive and operationally achievable.
  • Prepare project plans using Gantt charts, milestones, and deliverable checklists to support effective project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines, scope, quality, and budget.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the business development and project-delivery process.
  • Proactively identify scope creep, commercial risks, and changes in client requirements.
  • Lead commercial discussions and scope renegotiations while maintaining positive, long-term client relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver professional proposals, presentations, progress reports, and commercial recommendations to clients and management.
  • Maintain an accurate business pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities, project status, risks, and financial performance.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure all commercial terms, project assumptions, and responsibilities are clearly documented.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development, project consultation, solution consulting, project management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Proven experience preparing technical-commercial proposals, project costing, implementation timelines, and scope-of-work documents.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, pricing, profitability analysis, margins, and cash-flow considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client requirements and coordinate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills, particularly in managing scope changes and commercial discussions without negatively affecting client relationships.
  • Good understanding of project-management methodologies, risk management, milestones, and deliverable tracking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly for costing and financial modelling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project-planning tools.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for developing compelling client proposals and management presentations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and able to balance client expectations with project feasibility and profitability.
