Senior Aruba Mobility & Switching Network Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

• Management of the customer’s Aruba mobility and switching systems
• Plays a lead role in providing global Network Engineering support.
• Configures and installs complex network devices, infrastructure and systems.
• Ensures the ongoing performance of network maintenance and systems upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Monitors network security and risk metrics, tracks issues and exceptions to risk policies and standards and liaises with Cybersecurity team members – suggesting process improvements and ensuring compliance with company security protocols and guidelines.
• Analyzes current network configuration, performance metrics and business needs, recommending future infrastructure improvements.
• Works to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to network infrastructure.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• High customer- and result-orientation
• Reliable and team oriented work style
• Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) or Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX)
• Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) or Aruba Certified Switching Expert (ACSX)
• Availability to work in a 100% office-based position
• English and German on business fluent level in spoken and written form
