Job Description
About the team:
Cyber Security team serves as the key system engineering interface for securing the electric traction drive systems, supporting customers from concept definition through beginning of series production and in post production phase. By leading system development across the complete V-cycle, we ensure compliance with customer requirements, technical standards and legal regulations. Through close collaboration with global project teams, R&D and production organizations, we provide cyber security expertise, detailed technical documentation and effective knowledge transfer. This holistic approach contributes to a smoother SOP, reduces development risks and enables successful industrialization of high-quality products.
Your tasks and responsibilities as a Cyber Security Management Engineer:
- Lead all cyber security activities and overall cyber security development in alignment with ISO 21434, UNECE WP.29, ZF Cyber Security Engineering Process (CEP) in coordination with development team.
- Leading the preparation of the project documentation and documenting CS plan, progress, analysis results, and reports.
- Prepare Vulnerability Analysis, Threat Analysis and conduct Risk assessments. Prepare and propose Cyber Security measures and controls to mitigate the risks. Plan and monitor all Cyber Security activities, including all Cyber Security test procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams for regular updates and technical reviews.
- Lead cyber security concept development and cyber security requirements development, cyber security requirements review, and work closely with functional engineers to ensure the execution of these requirements.
- Support V&V managers and engineers from different departments in security verification tests and its vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with quality managers for better understanding and preparation of project documentation.
- Periodically report the project cyber security status.
Your profile as a Cyber Security Management Engineer:
- Successfully completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Vehicle Technologies or a comparable degree.
- Experience in system and cyber security processes in the automotive sector is desired but not obligatory (UNECE W.29, ISO/IEC 15504, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO/IEC 27001,…).
- Experience in Cyber Security threat modeling, risk assessment and vulnerability analysis.
- Experience in embedded software and hardware in the automotive sector is an advantage.
- Good to have: Background in systems/software engineering, system/software architecture design, electrical hardware engineering in the Automotive or Aerospace industry.
- Required: Basic knowledge in structured engineering approach.
- Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.
