Solutions Architect

Overview:

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join one of Portugal’s largest energy companies and one of Europe’s leading energy groups, headquartered in Lisbon. The client is a global electricity and gas company, operating across several countries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, serving millions of customers and employing thousands of people. The profile translates business needs into viable, secure, and scalable technological solutions, aligned with the client's reference architecture. Acts as a liaison between the business, technical teams, and various centers of competence, ensuring that the solution meets both current and future requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Up to 10 years of experience in the relevant role for the service to be contracted.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR (a plus).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence (a plus).
• Project experience (a plus).
• Language proficiency (written and spoken): English (mandatory), Portuguese (preferred), Spanish (preferred).
• Any architecture certification (e.g., Microsoft, Cloud, etc.).
• Ability to critically analyse business requirements and align them with the client’s reference application architecture.
• Solid knowledge of different types of architecture deliverables and artefacts.
• Focus on clear architecture documentation and compliance with governance standards.
• Ability to clearly communicate established security, application, and technology architecture standards, and independently influence and drive their adoption.
• Knowledge of API and integration between applications, SAP, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and web and mobile development.
