Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

In this role, you will support our growing business line Radio Frequency (RF) by ensuring functional safety/ cybersecurity compliance according to ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 21434 and by guiding development teams in applying safety/security-related requirements throughout the product lifecycle. You will work in an international environment with cross-functional teams to strengthen Infineon as a quality leader - in established markets like automotive as well as emerging markets like robotics.

  • Ensure functional safety/cybersecurity

compliance according to ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and ISO 21434 for products throughout the lifecycle

  • Confirm the compliant tailoring of product

development processes and support teams in applying the required confirmation measures

  • Advise and guide development teams in creating, reviewing and improving safety/security concepts and analysis
  • Guide projects towards conformity with functional safety/cyber security requirements, review project

plans and development deliverables to ensure alignment with internal requirements and applicable standards and approve the final compliance status

  • Create and maintain Quality Assurance Plan, execute confirmation reviews and other confirmation

measures

  • Act as auditor or assessor in product audits and assessments for components developed according

to functional safety/cybersecurity standards

  • Collaborate with international project teams, including Development, Quality Management, Project Management and other

relevant stakeholders

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering,

Physics or a comparable degree

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in functional safety according to ISO 26262 and/or IEC

61508

  • Experience in automotive and/or robotics (or other highly regulated industries) product development & maintenance, combined with a semiconductor hardware background
  • A systematic approach to analyzing product safety and managing technical risks
  • Strong moderation and communication

skills as well as experience in working with cross-functional teams e.g. in audits, assessments and reviews

  • Ideally, you have a good knowledge in ISO

21434-compliant product development, ASPICE and/or Quality management methods

  • Fluent English and good German skills (written and spoken)
