Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS cloud environments
  • Secure AWS services, including IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty
  • Establish and maintain cloud security architecture, standards, guardrails, and best practices
  • Conduct cloud security risk assessments, configuration reviews, and security posture evaluations
  • Monitor cloud environments for threats, suspicious activities, and configuration deviations
  • Support investigations and remediation of security incidents involving cloud resources and workloads
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure cloud deployments and compliance with security requirements
  • Support regulatory audits, cloud security assessments, and third-party security reviews

Person Specifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure security
  • Strong knowledge of AWS security services, cloud security architecture, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, networking, compute, storage, databases, containers, and security monitoring services
  • Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), security configuration reviews, risk assessments, and threat monitoring
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and incident response
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Relevant AWS or cloud security certifications are advantageous
