As part of the growth of our Hybrid Cloud & Data practice (AI, Analytics & Data Services), we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer – Hybrid Cloud & Data to participate in the design, development, and evolution of modern data platforms for our clients.

The successful candidate plays a key role in transforming data into strategic assets by collaborating with Data & AI architects, solution architects, BI analysts, and development teams.

This role combines data engineering, data modeling, pipeline development, data integration, optimization of analytics platforms, and contribution to Data and AI modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise and a proven ability to design robust, scalable data solutions tailored to business needs.

Here’s how you will be involved:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines.
  • Develop data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions.
  • Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
  • Participate in the design and evolution of modern Data platforms on Azure.
  • Design and optimize data models for analytics and AI needs.
  • Ensure the quality, performance, performance, and reliability of data processing.
  • Collaborate with architects, BI analysts, developers, and AI teams.
  • Participate with architects, BI analysts, and AI teams.

  • Contribute to deployment automation and continuous improvement of Data practices.

Your Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent training combined with relevant experience.
  • Significant experience developing modern Data solutions and Cloud Data platforms.
  • Good understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse, and Data Integration concepts.
  • Proven experience in data modeling and pipeline development.
  • Experience in large-scale analytics and AI environments.
  • Experience in large-scale analytics and AI environments.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services (an asset).

Required Technologies and Expertise

Required:

  • Advanced SQL expertise.
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Python and ETL/ELT.
  • Experience with the following Azure services:

- Azure Data Factory

- Azure Databricks

- Azure Data Lake Storage

- Azure Synapse Analytics

Assets:

  • PySpark
  • Apache Spark

Having obtained one or more certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • Any relevant Azure or Data certification
