Job Description:
The opportunity:
Join Hitachi Energy as an IT Project Manager focused on PLM project management. You will lead medium, large, and enterprise IT projects delivered across global teams.
You are accountable for end‑to‑end execution of PLM‑related initiatives, including planning, implementation, control, and formal project closure. The role requires strong governance, financial discipline, and alignment with project management standards.
You will provide central expertise for complex technical programs. This includes dependency management across interrelated projects, consolidated status reporting, and adherence to agreed methodologies.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and leadership teams. Your work supports business transformation and ensures the successful delivery of PLM solutions such as Windchill or similar platforms.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Lead execution of IT and PLM projects
- Plan and manage PLM project scope, schedule, and resources
- Monitor project progress, budget, and financial performance
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities
- Act as an escalation point for project issues
- Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy methodology and quality standards
- Manage vendors and track external deliverables
- Capture, analyze, and share lessons learned
Your background:
- 5+ years of experience in large IT project management
- 5+ years of experience in large PLM projects
- Global program and multi‑project lifecycle experience
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow SPPM / SPM
- PMP with Gate Model, Agile, and Scrum methods
- Experience in financial and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
