Full description

Do you enjoy learning software and showing others how it can help their business? We’re looking for a Sales Engineer who can turn business needs into clear, customized product demonstrations. If you’re comfortable presenting, answering questions, and learning a product inside and out, we’d like to hear from you.

We’re a growing software company based in Vancouver, WA, proudly delivering the leading business management software in the Pool, Hot Tub, and Hearth industries. For years, we’ve helped businesses streamline operations, improve efficiency, and grow through innovative cloud-based solutions. As our platform and customer base continue to expand, we remain focused on building modern, scalable technology that drives the future of the industries we serve.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, self-driven, and comfortable working with prospects, clients, and our sales team. This role combines product knowledge, preparation, and presentation skills to help businesses understand what LOU can do for them.

Here’s a snapshot of what we want you to do:

The Sales Engineer serves as our Sales Demo Specialist, building and independently delivering customized live video demonstrations of LOU cloud business software. The focus is on product knowledge and presentation rather than traditional technical engineering.

You’ll develop deep knowledge of LOU and its Add-On products and demonstrate how their features and workflows address each business’s needs. You’ll support both new business prospects and current Evosus Legacy clients considering a move to LOU.

You’ll work closely with Account Executives and Account Managers, using their discovery and qualification notes to prepare relevant demonstrations. They own discovery, qualification, opportunity management, the customer relationship, and closing the sale. You’ll focus on delivering effective demos, answering product questions, and sharing feedback and follow-up needs with the sales team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Build and independently deliver customized LOU live video demos that show how the software’s features and functions address each business’s identified needs.
  • Use AE and AM discovery, business insight, and qualification notes in CRM to customize live video demo workflows, functions, features, and results to solutions for each business.
  • Learn, apply, and continue to develop a working knowledge of LOU features, functions, workflows, and updates through self-directed learning, hands-on practice, and ongoing learning.
  • Prepare, set up, and test all LOU demo environments, sample data, and presentation elements, including any supporting materials.
  • Answer product questions customized to each business need, accurately and clearly provide functionality and use cases, explain the scope of features and solutions possible, and coordinate unanswered questions with AEs and AMs.
  • Support both new client and Evosus Legacy-to-LOU demonstrations.
  • Record all meetings, demos, calls, follow-ups, key pain points and next steps associated with demo activity, customer feedback, and follow-up needs in the CRM for the AE or AM.
  • Create pre-recorded demonstrations based on key personas identified by the company. All recorded demos will be approved by the sales manager.
  • Improve demo materials using feedback and share recurring product needs with internal teams.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Our corporate headquarters are located in Vancouver, Washington. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with the option to work in the office, remotely, or a combination of both.

Strong communication, collaboration, and availability during regular business hours are important when working with clients and team members in different locations.
