Junior Consultant / Consultant (Data Analyst)

Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

Location: Philippines

Description

Working alongside sustainable packaging consultants, the consultant will be responsible for processing and validating raw client data into a standardized format, using internal software to complete data declarations for a number of different regulations, and conduct analysis to understand compliance, costs and support cost mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform checks and gap analysis against data quality standards 

Cleanse, transform and validate data using programs such as Excel, PowerQuery and Alteryx  Investigate data anomalies to identify edge cases and exception reporting  Develop and automate data processing workflows where applicable to streamline processing  Support with estimation and forecasting of EPR costs  Overcome data gaps and correct data inaccuracies through suitable estimation methods  Produce written documentation of data processing methodologies  Communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve data issues, present solutions and methodologies  Keep up to date on EPR and PPWR regulatory developments, guided by senior team members  Work to regulatory deadlines  Collaborate with internal project team members globally, predominantly in the Philippines and the UK.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Experience in a data role (0-3 years) is ideal but not essential 
  • Experience in a compliance role (0-3 years) is ideal but not essential 
  • BA/BSc. degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or related field 
  • Packaging and supply chain knowledge ideal but not essential 
  • Numerically competent 
  • Confidently communicate technical information in English 
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Curious and proactive mindset 
  • Willing to respectfully challenge when things do not appear to be correct.
