About us Hacksaw Studios is a Stockholm-based game studio focused on creating innovative, high-quality gaming experiences. With a focus on performance and precision, we bring ideas to life through technical expertise and creative collaboration. We have wide distribution, and our games are played by millions of people every month by players all over the world.

We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team. The team is responsible for developing Hacksaw Studios’ own games, bringing together expertise from different functions.

The Role

In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and support game projects from concept through to release. You will act as a central point of coordination between departments, helping teams stay aligned and ensuring that projects meet their timelines, quality standards, and creative goals.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of assigned game projects, from initial planning through execution and delivery.
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, and priorities in our project management system.
  • Coordinating across functions to ensure an efficient workflow and alignment on project scope, goals, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • Monitoring progress, quality, risks, and potential blockers, and supporting the teams in resolving issues proactively.
  • Facilitating project kick-offs, milestone check-ins, reviews, and other relevant meetings.
  • Keeping the Team Lead and relevant stakeholders informed about project progress, changes, risks, and key decisions.
  • Participating in review and feedback cycles to ensure consistency and high-quality deliverables.
  • Identifying improvements to workflows and tools that strengthen quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, game development practices, and player preferences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in project management or production, ideally involving several projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • A structured, organized, and proactive approach to your work.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and create clarity around responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to take ownership of assigned project areas.
  • The ability to identify risks and proactively seek guidance or clarification when needed.
  • Openness to feedback and a willingness to continuously develop your ways of working.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the gaming or iGaming industry.
  • Experience coordinating creative and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with game development processes and project management tools.
  • Experience in or a strong interest in technology. 
  • A personal interest in games and game development.
