Our Connect Technology teams are working on our new Connect platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on Connect data and insights to innovate and grow.

As a Data Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and supporting cutting-edge technologies such as Python, Fast API, Snowflake, Postgres, Complex SQL, Azure cloud Services, GIT Hub, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker.  These technologies are deployed using DevOps pipelines leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, GIT Hub actions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop, troubleshoot, debug and make application enhancements using AI tools in python, Fast API, Snowflake, Postgres, Complex SQL, Azure cloud Services,Airflow, GIT Hub, Kubernetes, Docker as the core development languages
  • Deploy application components using CI/CD pipelines
  • Ingest data from multiple sources in different formats
  • Perform complex business transformations on source data and create reportable datamarts
  • Build utilities for monitoring and automating repetitive functions
  • Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams - internal and external clients including Operations, Infrastructure, Tech Ops

Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of years of applicable Software engineering experience
  • Strong fundamentals in AI tools and prompt engineering
  • Strong hands on experience in writing complex SQL
  • Strong fundamentals in data warehousing concepts
  • Strong fundamentals with experience in front-end and backend object-oriented programming, including proficiency in Python, Airflow, Fast API,
  • Must have experience in cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Good to have experience with DevOps Technologies as GIT Hub, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably Snowflake & PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business
  • Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
