About the Role:

The company is looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer who is eager to grow their expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern deployment practices. This is an excellent opportunity to work with experienced engineers while contributing to the infrastructure behind high-performance, real-time products.

The role is highly hands-on, offering ownership of meaningful infrastructure projects from day one. Successful candidates will gain practical experience across cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and containerized environments while continuously developing their technical skills.

Requirements

Required Experience

  • Good understanding of Linux fundamentals, including command-line operations, networking, processes, and permissions
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized application workflows
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and software delivery pipelines
  • Some exposure to cloud platforms, ideally AWS
  • Interest in learning Infrastructure as Code tools and cloud automation
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or other automation platforms such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Experience using monitoring and observability solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Sentry, or Zabbix
  • AWS certifications or relevant coursework
  • Basic scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Deployments

  • Support the deployment, maintenance, and operation of containerized applications running on AWS
  • Contribute to improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure
  • Assist with day-to-day infrastructure operations across development and production environments

Infrastructure as Code

  • Help develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices, primarily with Pulumi (TypeScript)
  • Participate in infrastructure improvements that increase consistency and automation across environments

CI/CD & Automation

  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist in automating deployment processes and engineering workflows to improve delivery speed and reliability

Monitoring & Reliability

  • Work with modern observability tools to monitor infrastructure health and application performance
  • Support monitoring initiatives using technologies such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Alloy, Sentry, and Zabbix
  • Help investigate infrastructure issues and participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution

Documentation & Best Practices

  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational processes
  • Help establish clear documentation to support collaboration and knowledge sharing across the engineering team
