Technical Project Manager

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and operations teams to define project objectives and success criteria.

• Deliver SAP technical projects such as release upgrades, support package implementations, database migrations (e.g. SAP HANA migrations), and cloud transformation initiatives.

Hands-on experience with SAP upgrade and migration projects is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and status reports.

• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests.

• Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.

• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Support Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery approaches as required.

• Track and report project metrics, milestones, and deliverables.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Senior SAP Basis Consultant, or similar role.

• Strong understanding of technical SAP projects, SAP maintenance strategy and project management principles.

• Experience managing complex technical SAP projects in fast-paced environments.

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar platforms.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

• Proficiency in English is essential; German language skills are a strong asset.
