Your role

Your role as a Senior Business Analyst, you will support the Homes NSW Finance Business Partnering team by leading a defined six-month remediation project to strengthen budget data integrity and financial reporting processes, tools and governance. These roles are accountable for delivering agreed project outcomes within established timeframes, improving the quality, consistency and reliability of financial information used for budgeting, forecasting and decision making.

Key deliverables include reviewing and remediating existing financial structures and processes, resolving historical data and reporting issues, developing fit for purpose financial tools, registers and governance frameworks, and implementing sustainable improvements that reduce manual intervention. The role will work collaboratively across Finance and Homes NSW business units to strengthen financial controls, improve service delivery, support informed executive decision-making and ensure alignment with relevant fiscal policies, frameworks and guidelines.

The role will bring a structured, outcomes-focused approach to complex remediation activities, translating issues into practical solutions and embedding improved processes that can be sustained beyond the life of the project.

What you’ll do

You will join the Homes NSW Finance Business Partner team delivering a six-month transformation project focused on strengthening budget data integrity and financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to working across Homes NSW business units and Strategic Finance, collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex problems, challenge the status quo and identify innovative, practical solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence how financial information is managed, analysed and communicated, while helping establish sustainable processes that will be sustained beyond the life of the project
