Embedded Software Engineer 1

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Ticket Escalations will come from Customer Support Tier2 counter parts that are looking for next level support on Telematics Issues. This will require Dealer interaction and collaboration with peers.
• Some issues may be easily resolved, but critical issues may require internal escalation. Technology Service Engineering team can be utilized to provide guidance and next steps to the Engineering Team.
• This individual will work with the Service Engineering team that covers Telematics Connectivity quality.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Customer Support Tier2 escalation path for Technology.
• These tickets will come from all Products that have Telematics Solutions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 1-2 years experience required.
• Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:  

• Basic Understanding of Troubleshooting Theory
• Electrical Background
• Schematic Understanding
• J1939, Ethernet, and Modbus Protocol Understanding
• Utilization of various data sources including AI
