Role Overview:

The Data Analyst (Journeyman) supports data migration, data quality analysis, reporting, and dashboard development activities within the Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data as it transitions from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms. The analyst will collaborate with functional and technical teams to validate data mappings, perform quality assurance activities, and develop reports and dashboards that support business decision-making and program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support data migration efforts, including extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation of data from legacy systems into Oracle Cloud EPM.
  • Perform data quality assessments to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and data integrity issues.
  • Validate legacy-to-target data mappings and confirm successful migration results.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide actionable business insights.
  • Utilize SQL and business intelligence (BI) tools to analyze data and generate reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to gather reporting requirements and define data validation processes.
  • Document data migration activities, validation results, and reporting methodologies.
  • Support testing activities, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and data verification efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational data governance, security, and quality standards.
  • Provide analytical support during implementation and post-deployment activities.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of data analysis experience, preferably supporting ERP, financial systems, or enterprise application migrations.
  • Experience supporting data migration and data validation initiatives in large-scale system implementations.
  • Proficiency with SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.
  • Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrated experience validating legacy-to-target data mappings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience performing data quality assessments and reconciliation activities.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Oracle Cloud EPM implementations.
  • Knowledge of financial data structures, ERP systems, or enterprise performance management solutions.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices

The compensation range for this position is $110,000-154,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance.
