Overview

Qsight, a Guidepoint division, is a leading provider of market intelligence for the global medical aesthetics and medical technology industries. We work with proprietary and alternative datasets to inform decisions for institutional investors, medical device companies, and pharmaceutical leaders.

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who can own the full analytics lifecycle, including raw data ingestion, data structuring, analysis, and the delivery of clear, actionable conclusions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical execution with the ability to explain complex analyses and methodologies to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role is hybrid based out of our New York City office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design and execution of ad hoc and syndicated research projects using proprietary and alternative data sources.
  • Work with large, complex datasets from diverse sources, cleaning and structuring data into analysis-ready formats.
  • Design and execute analyses to answer market research questions, applying appropriate methodologies and analytical frameworks.
  • Build and maintain scalable analytical workflows using SQL, Python, and Snowflake, incorporating AI tools to improve speed and efficiency.
  • Develop clear, effective visualizations and outputs that communicate key findings and withstand client scrutiny.
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders and external clients to scope analyses, refine problem statements, explain methodologies, and deliver results.
  • Operate across multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment, balancing speed with analytical rigor.
  • Assess and improve data models, data quality, and analytical standards to support more reliable and scalable analysis.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related).
  • 4–7 years of professional experience in data analytics, market research, or applied data science, ideally in a client-facing or consulting context.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong experience with SQL, Tableau (or similar BI tools), and Python; familiarity with Snowflake preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics workflows (e.g., using AI tools for data exploration, query generation, or workflow acceleration).
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization, statistical analysis, and hypothesis-driven research design.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, balancing multiple projects and deliverables.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to be onsite in our New York office as needed for collaboration and client meetings.

What We Offer:

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.

  • Commuter benefits and a corporate gym rate
  • Development opportunities through the LinkedIn Learning platform
  • Free snacks and beverages in the office
