Primary Purpose

This role will act as Product Owner from LO/Market to SP delivery, ensuring alignment with brand vision. And be PD Representative to serve as Product Development’s trusted on-site voice, translating product strategy into local action, enabling seamless collaboration between SPs, onsite teams, and internal PD/Engineering. To be the guardian of Product Integrity, to maintain design intent and preserve product consistency.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in PD (function) to...

  • Serve as the exclusive PD liaison between Asia PD team, on-site operation team and SPs, facilitate unobstructed real-time two-way feedback loops across all parties, and resolve cross-party communication barriers in the product development process.
  • Systematically communicate and consistently reinforce design intent, product quality expectations and global brand standards on finished goods to on-site teams and all SPs, to eliminate information deviation in the transmission process.
  • Support smooth implementation of approved changes and design updates by verifying understanding and execution at the SP level.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Engineering and PD teams to conduct multi-dimensional validation on all SP output, to confirm all deliverables fully match the original design and overall product direction.
  • Proactively observe and promptly flag any discrepancies or risks related to material application, craftsmanship interpretation, or deviation from approved specifications, and escalate critical issues to internal stakeholders with structured solution suggestions.
  • Acquire in-depth product knowledge through LO/Market product handover meetings and guide all SPs to strictly follow the predefined design intent and quality standards throughout the production cycle.
  • Coordinate with the Lead Engineer to maintain engineering documentation, including best practice guidelines, SOPs, test reports etc., evaluate craftmanship innovation solutions, and align with the Lead Engineer before rolling out to mass production.
  • Partner with PD leadership to conduct full assessment on technical feasibility and cost optimization potential of proposed product upgrades, and enhance regional third-party manufacturing capabilities to improve bulk order production flexibility.
  • Identify product non-conformity issues in the first place, coordinate with the regional hub team to launch required official product audits, and follow up closely with the on-site team to implement the appropriate solution and correction.
