Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced Waterproofing Project Manager to manage commercial waterproofing projects throughout the Tampa Bay area.

This position is ideal for a construction professional who understands waterproofing systems, can manage multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, and knows how to balance schedule, budget, quality, safety, subcontractors, and customer expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Manage waterproofing projects from pre-construction and mobilization through completion and closeout.
  • Review project scope, contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, budgets, schedules, and Notices of Commencement.
  • Develop project plans and coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and jobsite requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, production, schedules, and overall profitability.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, owners, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal field teams.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and scope changes.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Ensure waterproofing installations meet manufacturer requirements, architectural specifications, approved submittals, and company quality standards.
  • Identify potential project issues early and develop solutions to keep work moving.
  • Track inspections and address issues identified by consultants, inspectors, owners, or local authorities.
  • Source and manage qualified subcontractors when required.
  • Work closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure proper manpower and production.
  • Prepare project updates and communicate schedule, cost, quality, and operational concerns to leadership.
  • Ensure jobsites operate in accordance with company safety requirements and OSHA standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of construction project management or field management experience; commercial waterproofing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with waterproofing, building-envelope, roofing, concrete restoration, or specialty commercial construction.
  • Working knowledge of waterproofing systems and installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, details, contracts, and construction documents.
  • Strong understanding of project budgets, job costing, scheduling, change orders, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to identify field conditions and troubleshoot waterproofing or water-intrusion issues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and construction/project-management systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements.
  • Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely access active construction sites.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Waterproofing Experience We're Especially Interested In

Candidates with experience involving below-grade waterproofing, traffic coatings, deck coatings, joint sealants/caulking, expansion joints, air and vapor barriers, fluid-applied systems, sheet membranes, plaza decks, balconies, parking structures, concrete restoration, and other commercial building-envelope systems are strongly encouraged to apply.
