Product Manager

OverviewYou will own the product definition, strategy and roadmap for avionics and mission systems across one of Cambridge Aerospace's interceptor products. Working at the intersection of engineering, programme delivery and operational requirements, you will translate mission needs into technically achievable products while balancing performance, schedule, cost and risk. You will work closely with electronics, software, systems, RF, guidance, integration, certification and manufacturing teams to ensure our products deliver operational advantage while remaining manufacturable, scalable and cost-effective.

Responsibilities• Own the product roadmap and strategy for avionics and mission systems across the product portfolio

• Translate operational, customer and engineering requirements into clear product specifications
• Drive product development from concept through testing, qualification and deployment
• Lead performance, cost, schedule, manufacturability and technical trade-off decisions
• Define and manage product requirements, priorities, risks and success metrics
• Support architecture reviews and key technical decisions across avionics hardware, embedded systems and mission-critical technologies
• Ensure products deliver operational advantage while meeting performance, reliability, SWaP-C and cost objectives

Requirements• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or a related discipline

• Experience delivering complex aerospace, defence, autonomous systems, robotics, space or high-performance technology products
• Strong understanding of avionics, aerospace electronics or mission-critical hardware systems
• Experience with analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronic systems
• Understanding of embedded systems, real-time processing, sensors, communications, RF systems or mission systems architectures

Preferred

• Experience in fast-paced R&D or startup environments, with rapid prototype iteration times
