About the job:

As a Founding Staff Software Engineer for the Agentic Data Warehouse (aDWH), you will pioneer a novel, AI-native approach to data warehousing at Google. Working within our core data intelligence team, you will help build a 0-to-1 platform that reimagines how data warehouses are created, governed, and utilized in the era of autonomous AI agents.

In this highly collaborative and direct role, you will co-develop a spec-driven architecture that translates natural-language investigative goals into structured, deterministic configurations. Your work will directly bridge autonomous AI agents with Google’s planet-scale production data infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and hallucination-free data assets.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of data analytics infrastructure, blending modern AI-native engineering methodologies with decades of battle-tested distributed systems development.
