Position Overview
Supports the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through completion. Assists with scheduling, documentation, subcontractor coordination, cost tracking, and project communication to ensure safe, timely, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily project coordination and communication.
- Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Monitor budgets, invoices, and job costs.
- Prepare project reports, forecasts, and progress updates.
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries.
- Support project meetings and track action items.
- Assist with compliance, safety, and contract requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of construction coordination or project engineering experience.
- Commercial or infrastructure construction experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation and scheduling tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
Physical / Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
- Ability to walk construction sites and climb ladders/scaffolding.
- Exposure to weather, noise, dust, and construction activity.
- May require travel and irregular hours based on project needs.
