The Senior Product Development Technologist leads Comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CCI) across SEA. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement product, process, raw material optimization opportunities that enhance quality, improve manufacturing efficiency, ensure business continuity, and optimize costs through CCI and Design to Value (DTV) principles.

Key Roles and Responsiblities

  • Lead and deliver Comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CCI) across SEA by driving product and process in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve quality, productivity, cost, and business objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations for CCI by evaluating technical solutions, identifying improvement opportunities, potential risks, and supporting manufacturing implementation to enhance product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the technical qualification and implementation of shortage raw materials, including technical assessment, risk evaluation, validation, and manufacturing implementation, to ensure business continuity while maintaining product quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and cost targets.
  • Manage assigned CCI projects by defining technical requirements, developing implementation plans, coordinating cross-functional activities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring timely delivery in line with business priorities.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including raw material and finished product specifications, ingredient statements, nutritional information, and other R&D documentation. Provide technical support for HACCP, GHP, Halal, food quality audits, and customer technical requests in accordance with R&D procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Discipline

BSc in Food Science/Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum 8 years’ experience

Certifications and/or Licenses

Food Handling and Food Safety Certification

Collaboration: Project management, interact, seek advice, teach, influence, negotiate, and influence across the organization.
