Develop and implement embedded software in C and C++, working with AUTOSAR-based systems and ISO 26262 functional safety requirements. Develop and verify driver interaction features for instrument clusters, displays, switches, and controls, and contribute across the software lifecycle, Agile collaboration, CI/CD, and automated regression testing.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer to join an agile development team in Göteborg, focusing on embedded software development, driver interaction, and automotive HMI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement embedded software using C and C++.
  • Work with AUTOSAR-based systems and ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.
  • Develop and verify driver interaction functions, including instrument clusters, displays, switches, and controls.
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements to implementation, testing, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to CI/CD and automated regression testing.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant embedded software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Embedded C and AUTOSAR.
  • Experience defining and implementing ISO 26262 requirements.
  • Knowledge of C++, Qt, Linux/Yocto.
  • Experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and SOME/IP.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and continuous integration.
  • Automotive or commercial vehicle experience is an advantage.
