Full description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Retail Products team as an Assistant Product Manager, perfect for someone looking to build a successful career in Product Management. You'll support the day to day management of our Savings & Current Account product lifecycle while playing a key role in delivering initiatives that make a real difference to both members and colleagues. From process improvements and business as usual activities, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced and varied environment where no two days are the same.
Working closely with Product Managers, you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, build strong relationships and help identify smarter ways of working that will shape the future success of the team.
We're looking for someone with recent experience of our Savings & Current Account products, processes and systems, ideally gained within Operations or a branch network role. You'll be a confident communicator who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and bring a strong analytical mindset with a natural aptitude for problem-solving. If you're passionate about delivering great outcomes for customers and keen to develop your product expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this role, you'll be based at your nearest regional office or hub. We value time spent together to connect with colleagues for collaboration so there will be a regular requirement to attend our Leeds, Glasgow or Newcastle site approximately once per quarter. If you are based at an office location, you'll be expected to meet our hybrid working requirement of at least two days a week, or 40% of your working time if part-time, in the office. If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
