Full description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution across drywall, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, and metal framing, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience leading commercial construction projects, coordinating field operations, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and clients. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced commercial construction environment and can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities• Manage commercial drywall, acoustical ceiling, flooring, and metal framing projects from contract award through final closeout.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to identify scope requirements and potential issues.
  • Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project costs, labor, materials, procurement, and subcontractor performance to maintain profitability.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize delays, cost overruns, and scope conflicts.
  • Support project closeout by ensuring punch lists, documentation, and final deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • 3–8 years of project management experience in commercial drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, metal framing, or related interior construction trades.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, contracts, and project management principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Proficiency with construction project management software preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Commercial interior construction experience is required.
