Requirements

 Set of X is hiring for a Linux System Administrator to support our prime contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with current owners and administrators to understand existing systems, requirements, and problem areas.
  • Provide direct input for organization long-term efforts and visions for future architecture and design.
  • Provide system administration functions to fix critical problems or implement stop-gap solutions as part of the transition to the new consolidated architecture.
  • Translate existing requirements and use-cases of current systems into scalable and supportable long-term solutions.
  • Implement and support final solution(s).
  • Participate in frequent internal engineering and strategy team meetings.
  • Build direct customer relationships to improve organizational feedback loop.

Required Skills:• Extensive RedHat (RHEL), CentOs Linux, and/or UNIX experience.

  • Experience managing NiFi data flows.
  • Experience with VMWare or associate technologies (ESX, NSX, VSAN, KVM, Nutanix or other).
  • Experience with containerization

Desired Skills:• RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) and/or RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification.

Experience/Education: 10+ experience in System Administration  Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.  Total Compensation Package

Salary Range: $120,000 - $240,000
