Freelance Senior FLEXCUBE System Analyst (B2B Contract)

We are looking for 2 Senior FLEXCUBE System Analysts to strengthen the Core Banking team of a large banking client.

This is a senior techno-functional consulting role focused on the development, improvement, and ongoing transformation of the Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS) platform.

The existing team is currently heavily engaged in product setup activities, creating a need for additional senior expertise around platform-level development, technical debt reduction, core functionality improvements, migrations, and transformation initiatives.

We are looking for highly experienced specialists who combine deep core banking knowledge with strong hands-on Oracle FLEXCUBE expertise and who can work independently across both business and technical domains.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse, develop, and improve functionality within the Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking platform

• Support platform-level development and reduction of accumulated technical debt

• Analyse and configure FLEXCUBE products, parameters, events, accounting roles, and accounting rules

• Support ongoing migration and banking transformation initiatives

• Analyse core banking processes and translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Investigate production issues using database queries, application logs, interfaces, and technical documentation

• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL

• Analyse integrations using SOAP/REST web services and XML messages

• Work with FLEXCUBE database, application, and interface architecture

• Collaborate closely with business, Core Banking, architecture, development, and support teams

• Contribute ideas and improvements to the long-term evolution of the platform

Must-Have Experience

We are looking for a very senior, hands-on FLEXCUBE professional with proven practical experience in:

Core Banking

• Strong hands-on experience with core banking operations

• Deep understanding of:

• Account lifecycle

• Interest calculations

• Fee calculations

• Accounting entries

• Regulatory reporting concepts

Oracle FLEXCUBE

• Strong commercial experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE / FCUBS

• Hands-on experience with:

• FLEXCUBE product setup and parameters

• Events

• Accounting roles and rules

• FLEXCUBE database architecture

• Application architecture

• Interfaces and integrations

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation

• Experience with SOAP and REST APIs

• Experience working with XML messages

• Ability to analyse UNIX/Linux application logs

• Ability to confidently read technical documentation, system specifications, and logs

Additional Requirements

• Proven experience working in production and/or application support environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to independently investigate complex platform-level problems

• Proactive personality with the ability to generate and challenge ideas

• Comfortable communicating with both business and technical stakeholders

• Mature professional communication skills

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of banking messaging and payment standards such as:

• ISO 20022

• SWIFT MT/MX

• Oracle FLEXCUBE certifications
