Position overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore (IN) to drive quality, automation, and reliability across our spatialSUITE products. The ideal candidate will have strong automation-first mindset, expertise in CI/CD pipelines, and release management, with exposure to AI-driven testing, cloud technologies, and modern GIS solutions. They will play a key role in ensuring product excellence through scalable automation frameworks, continuous testing, and seamless integration and deployment processes across our spatialSTORM / spatialSDK platforms.

Responsibilities 

• Involve in QA activities and Develop/maintain Java, C#, and Python-based test automation frameworks, including test creation, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure comprehensive automated coverage of functional, integration, regression, and customer-specific production scenarios.
• Embed automated testing within CI/CD pipelines and support release, deployments, database management and production readiness activities.
• Collaborate across teams to drive defect resolution, leverage AI-enabled testing practices, and adopt emerging QA, GIS, and technology innovations. 

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in end-to-end QA automation frameworks development.
• Technical Skills:• Proficiency in Java/C#/Python, Selenium, ETL testing/DB testing, UI/UX automation, API automation and performance testing.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with testing Web services and API technologies including REST, XML/JSON, SOAP
• Good exposure to tools such as ReadyAPI, RestASsured, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Jenkins, GIT, Maven etc
• Good exposure to spatial databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and AI technologies.

 Soft Skills: Excellent communication problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaborate effectively with business analysts, technical writers, and developers.

 Good to have skills

·       Experience in GIS applications dealing with WMS / WMTS, Open Layers etc.

• Exposure to AI-powered tools, automation frameworks, and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices.

·       Certification in any automation tools and/or QA methodologies.
