Established in 1996, Matrix Systems and Technology, Inc. (MSTi) provides IT and engineering services to federal, state and local government and commercial clients. Our work includes software testing and quality assurance, project management, requirements analysis, implementation support and IT staff augmentation.

Responsibilities

·        Design, develop, test and maintain Java full stack applications and APIs.

·        Develop web interfaces and backend services and integrate application components.

·        Work with MongoDB and relational databases, including Amazon Aurora/RDS.

·        Support application deployment and troubleshooting in AWS environments.

·        Review code, guide technical decisions and mentor other engineers.

·        Collaborate with requirements, testing and delivery teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

·        Eight or more years of relevant software engineering experience.

·        Hands-on Java full stack development experience, including front-end web technologies and backend services.

·        Exposure to AWS, MongoDB and Amazon Aurora/RDS.

·        Experience with API integration, database access and application troubleshooting.

·        Ability to communicate technical decisions and collaborate with a delivery team.
