Requirements

Candidates must hold a university degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with several years of experience in product or category management. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and experience within technical B2B categories such as power tools or industrial products is highly desirable.

Shape the future of our Power Tools & Pneumatic Tools portfolio

As International Product Manager Power Tools & Pneumatic Tools (f/m/d), you will drive the strategic development and growth of important product categories. Working in an international environment, you will identify market opportunities, develop category strategies, manage key supplier relationships and lead the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Quality Management & Product Compliance, Marketing and our local product management teams across Europe to ensure sustainable growth, increased customer value and competitive differentiation.

YOUR TASKS 

Category & Portfolio Management

  • Develop and execute the international category strategy for Power Tools & Pneumatic Tools
  • Manage and optimize the product portfolio across its entire lifecycle
  • Identify market trends, customer needs and growth opportunities
  • Drive assortment expansion, portfolio optimization and phase-out activities

Product Innovation

  • Lead international new product introduction projects
  • Identify and evaluate innovative products, technologies and solutions
  • Build business cases and define go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate product launches across multiple countries

Supplier & Partner Management

  • Manage strategic supplier relationships with leading industry brands and manufacturers
  • Support supplier selection, negotiations and portfolio reviews
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Explore new sourcing and partnership opportunities

Commercial Performance Management

  • Analyze sales, profitability and customer data to identify growth levers
  • Define pricing strategies and portfolio recommendations
  • Develop initiatives to increase customer penetration and sales force activation
  • Monitor category KPIs and derive improvement measures

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Procurement, Quality & Product Compliance, Marketing and Sales
  • Support the development of training and sales enablement materials
  • Act as central point of contact for Power Tools & Pneumatic Tools related topics within the international organization
  • Facilitate alignment between headquarters and local markets

YOUR PROFILE 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in Product Management or Category Management
  • Experience within Power Tools, Pneumatic Tools, Tools, Industrial Products or other technical B2B categories is desirable
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working in an international matrix organization
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Fluent English is mandatory; German is considered nice-to-have
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Open minded for new technologies, especially AI
