We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to support key account programs and help ensure customer projects are executed successfully from quotation through delivery. This role reports to the Program Manager and serves as a cross-functional coordinator across sales, engineering, quality, sourcing, operations, and external manufacturing partners.
The Project Manager will support day-to-day execution of key account projects by tracking schedules, coordinating open actions, following up on supplier and internal deliverables, and helping ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and met. This position will play an important role in maintaining visibility to project status, identifying risks early, and keeping internal stakeholders aligned on timing, documentation, quality expectations, and delivery commitments.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple projects and teams. Success in this role requires strong communication, follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to build productive relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day coordination of key account projects across sales, engineering, quality, sourcing, operations, and supplier partners.
- Own day-to-day execution of assigned OSP projects from quotation/order release through production, inspection, shipment, receipt, invoicing, and complete-in-full closeout.
- Track project milestones, open action items, timing commitments, documentation needs, and delivery status.
- Serve as a key point of contact for assigned project activities, helping ensure internal and external teams remain aligned.
- Support quotation activities by gathering supplier inputs, customer requirements, lead times, cost details, and required documentation.
- Lead project and supplier kickoffs to align scope, customer requirements, technical/documentation needs, inspection and test requirements, milestones, logistics, responsibilities, and escalation paths.
- Help identify project risks, schedule gaps, documentation issues, or quality concerns and escalate them in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate project records, including meeting notes, action trackers, schedules, customer requirements, supplier updates, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare regular project updates for the Program Manager and internal stakeholders, including status, risks, next steps, and required decisions.
- Provide concise customer and leadership updates focused on what changed, current risks, required actions, ownership, due dates, and decisions needed.
- Assist with product and process validation activities, including inspections, certifications, quality documentation, and shipment paperwork.
- Maintain visibility to upcoming demand and capacity by supplier and product family; identify potential conflicts and support supplier qualification, scorecards, business reviews, and development actions.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts that strengthen project execution, customer responsiveness, and cross-functional alignment.
- Up to 35% travel as required.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Effective communication and follow-up skills across internal teams, suppliers, and customer-facing stakeholders.
- Ability to understand project requirements, customer expectations, schedules, and documentation needs.
- Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements preferred.
- Familiarity with quality documentation such as PPAP, FAI, inspection plans, NCR/CAPA, material certifications, NDE records, test reports, and ASME documentation preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, quality, or supplier coordination processes.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools, action registers, schedules, and status reporting.
- Ability to identify risks, follow up on open items, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in project documentation and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively across sales, engineering, quality, sourcing, operations, and external suppliers.
- Practical problem-solving skills and willingness to drive issues to closure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Digital fluency, including the ability to use modern productivity tools and generative AI responsibly to improve documentation, planning, communication, and follow-through.
- Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Desired Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, or a related business role.
- Experience supporting customer projects, key accounts, or cross-functional program execution.
- Experience working with suppliers, fabricators, contract manufacturers, or external service providers preferred.
- Experience coordinating schedules, open action items, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
- Exposure to manufacturing, fabrication, pressure vessels, or industrial products preferred.
- Familiarity with quality documentation, inspection records, material certifications, or customer-specific requirements preferred.
- Experience using ERP, quality, CRM, or project tracking systems preferred.
- Experience supporting quotation, order execution, or customer delivery activities preferred.
- Exposure to ASME, pressure vessels, or other compliance-driven manufacturing environments preferred.
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP, quality, or project tracking systems preferred.
- Technical, quality, or Project management certifications are a plus but not required.
