JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is hiring a skilled Systems Analyst to join Burberry’s UK Internal Manufacturing team in Castleford. You will help our Planning, Procurement and Production teams make informed decisions by maintaining accurate data, producing insightful reporting and providing dependable system support. Working across SAP, reporting tools and operational processes, you will improve visibility, resolve data issues and identify smarter ways of working. This is an opportunity to use technology and analysis to support the precision, quality and craft behind Burberry’s operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Systems & Data Management
- Maintain SAP housekeeping, system cleansing, COGI management and planning data accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity across planning systems, reports and dashboards.
- Investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support master data maintenance and governance activities.
Reporting & Analysis
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports and dashboards for Planning, Procurement and Production teams.
- Analyse operational performance data and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support KPI reporting for production performance, inventory, work in progress and customer delivery.
- Maintain reporting for sustainability, traceability, quality and material availability.
Operational Support
- Respond to internal customer queries and provide administrative support to the wider team.
- Support inventory control activities, stock takes and shipping-related investigations.
- Provide cover for the SAP & Master Data Analyst and other Planning & Procurement team members as required.
- Support project activity and peak seasonal workloads.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data accuracy and business processes.
- Support automation and enhanced use of reporting tools and technology.
- Promote data-driven decision-making across the function.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system, together with strong Excel and Microsoft Office capability.
- A relevant degree or technical qualification, or equivalent skills gained through professional experience.
- Confidence working with numerical information and translating data into clear, useful insight.A careful and organised approach, with the ability to prioritise effectively and maintain data accuracy.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across different functions.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset, with an interest in improving systems, reporting and ways of working.
Desirable:
- Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Planning experience
- Luxury goods or premium brand experience
- Reporting and dashboard development experience
- Knowledge of planning systems and data visualisation tools
- Experience using AI-enabled business tools
- Sustainability or traceability reporting knowledge
