JOB SUMMARY

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, CivicEye delivers modern, easy-to-use cloud software for law enforcement and prosecutors that enhances daily workflows and improves community outcomes. The company combines a deep understanding of the criminal justice system with an unrivaled technology platform, bringing next-generation technology to law enforcement, prosecutors, and courts nationwide.

CivicEye is experiencing explosive growth, and in conjunction with that growth, the company is looking for a self-driven, energetic, and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, able to build consensus between multiple stakeholders in large, multiphase projects. 

In this position, the Project Manager will manage software implementation projects across the CivicEye product line, work cross-functionally between CivicEye's implementation, operations, and engineering teams, and be laser-focused on meeting the needs of the end users. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate internal resources required to define the scope, allocate resources, set deadlines, layout communication strategies, and lead a client through go-live. 

• Encourage client engagement through interactions with varying levels of the client organization, from end users to executive sponsors. 

• Participate in and supervise each stage of the project. 

• Ensure each project phase stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines. 

• Monitor project budget and ensure the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible. 

• Direct and oversee consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion. 

• Track milestones, deliverables, and change requests. 

• Serve as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information. 

• Deliver completed software products to clients and regularly check the products' performance.

• Discuss potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software engineers. 

• Other responsibilities as assigned 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Proven experience in project management and software development. 

• Good working knowledge of project management techniques. 

• Excellent technical knowledge. 

• Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills. 

• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software development, software engineering, computer science, or related field OR

• 1+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Education / Experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

• Experience in the criminal justice field or criminal justice software industry

• Experience with fast-paced PE-backed/growth-stage companies
