Working close with the QLD Operations Manager, this role will primarily be responsible for the overall management of projects including the planning, coordination through to completion.
THE ROLE
- Overall management of construction projects from initial setup through to completion
- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of various projects
- Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
- Involvement with tendering/estimation
- Raise RFI’s and track responses
ABOUT YOU
- Large-scale construction project experience
- Commercial industry experienced desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar
- Proven ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Ability to self-manage own workload whilst ensuring a project efficiency and a positive team environment
- Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- Ability to influence and drive teams to deliver contribution to business objectives
