This role provides project management for leasing, zoning, permitting, regulatory compliance, and construction processes of new and modified telecommunications sites. It manages projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints to meet specified requirements and customer satisfaction. The role supports network development and modification activities including real estate, entitlement, and construction tasks and can be performed in either the T-Mobile Engineering offices located in either Edina, MN or Denver, CO. Success is measured by timely delivery, adherence to project plans, risk mitigation, and partner communication. The work impacts organizational network infrastructure and customer service by ensuring effective project execution and compliance with standards.
This PM will serve as a dedicated resource for cell site development projects, with a primary focus on real estate and entitlement milestone management across new build and upgrade projects. Core areas of responsibility include:
- Real Estate & Entitlement Milestone Management – Oversees the full entitlement lifecycle for new cell site builds and existing site upgrades, ensuring timely progression through leasing, zoning, and permitting stages
o Develops and maintains project timelines; monitors milestone progress and proactively identifies gaps and opportunities to keep projects on track o Coordinates and facilitates cross-functional meetings with internal teams, site acquisition vendors, and key partners to drive project alignment and decision-making o Familiarity with cell site construction processes and scope is a plus, enabling effective coordination between real estate and construction phases o Working knowledge of leasing, zoning, and permitting processes as they apply to telecommunications site development
- Site Acquisition Vendor Management – Partners with and manages site acquisition vendors through the entitlement process, ensuring accountability to project timelines and deliverables
- Project Initiation & Gap Identification – Leads project kick-off activities, establishes scope and timelines, and identifies gaps or risks early to maintain project momentum
- Budget Management – Tracks and manages project budgets, processes purchase orders, and ensures financial adherence throughout the project lifecycle
- Advocacy – Experience with government relations or advocacy processes in support of zoning and permitting approvals is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages project resources to ensure timely delivery of construction and development services within project constraints
- Creates and updates project timelines, monitors progress, and reports deviations to maintain alignment with project plans
- Communicates project status and coordinates with partners to ensure project documentation and approvals meet standards
- Identifies project risks, participates in mitigation planning, and calls out issues to maintain project objectives
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent

- Experience in developing and delivering presentations. (Preferred)
- 2-4 years Project Management experience with supporting or managing small projects in complex environments (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Office (Required) Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Candidates should be comfortable building presentations in PowerPoint and managing documents in Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Microsoft Project or similar experience (Required) Candidates will be expected to work within Magenta Built (T-Mobile’s internal project management platform) to build and maintain project timelines, track milestone deliverables, and manage an active portfolio of projects.
- Communication (Required) – Strong professional presentation skills are required, including the ability to deliver clear project status updates, surface gaps and opportunities, and collaborate effectively with peers, vendors, and cross-functional partners across a distributed team.
- Accounting (Required) – Experience with purchase order processing and budget management required. Familiarity with procurement systems such as Ariba, Scope Worker, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Project Management (Required) – Demonstrated ability to initiate and manage projects from kick-off through deployment, with a clear understanding of key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Negotiation (Required) – Ability to engage and negotiate with property owners, landlords, and municipalities on T-Mobile’s behalf, including lease terms, rights-of-way, and related agreements.
- Construction Drawings (Required) – Experience collaborating with Architecture & Engineering (A&E) teams to review and redline construction documents, ensuring all approved changes are accurately incorporated into final Construction Drawings (CDs).

Base Pay Range: $74,600 - $134,600
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
