SUMMARY: The Product Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across a multi-state territory for a manufacturer of mobile electronic control products. This role assists in developing and executing a strategic-go-to-market plan, builds strong customer relationships, and identifies new business opportunities with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) mobile customers while supporting distribution channels. The position combines technical expertise, strategic sales leadership, and strong commercial execution to expand market share and position electronic control solutions in a competitive market. Products include wireless radio control solutions, mobile-centric control panels, mobile controllers, electronic joysticks, engine power distribution modules, and simple-to-complex wiring harness solutions.

- Leads the development and execution of regional sales and go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Achieves and exceeds regional sales, revenue, and market growth objectives.
- Establishes territory priorities, target accounts, and business development strategies to support regional growth.
- Oversees sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and account development and identifies opportunities, risks, and appropriate action plans.
- Reviews and supports significant sales opportunities, including complex customer requirements, solution development, quotations, negotiations, and closing strategies.
- Identifies, develops, and closes strategic new business opportunities with OEM customers and distribution partners.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within strategic accounts and distribution partners.
- Serves as an escalation point for significant customer, distributor, technical, and commercial matters.
- Leads efforts to expand market share and strengthen the company's presence throughout the assigned multi-state territory.
- Develops and strengthens distribution channels and evaluates opportunities to improve channel effectiveness and market coverage.
- Analyzes market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, applications, and regulatory factors to guide sales and business development strategy.
- Provides sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, market intelligence, and recommendations to sales leadership.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with product management, engineering, marketing, operations, and other internal partners to align customer opportunities with product and company priorities.
- Provides guidance regarding customer applications and recommends solutions based on technical and commercial requirements.
- Provides product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers, distribution partners, and internal team members.
- Leads and supports pre-sales and post-sales technical discussions in coordination with engineering and other internal teams.
- Drives customer engagement and strategic account-development initiatives.
- Promotes high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth.
- Monitors regional sales performance, identifies performance gaps and growth opportunities, and collaborates with sales team members on strategies to improve results.
- Supports company initiatives and represents the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and other business-development activities.
- Establishes regional sales priorities and supports alignment with company sales objectives.
- Coaches and develops team members to strengthen technical knowledge, sales effectiveness, account management, and business development capabilities.
- Monitors results against established sales goals and provides recommendations and support to improve sales performance.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
EXPERIENCE:
- At least five (5) years of progressive technical sales experience, preferably within mobile electronics, controls, automation, or related industrial markets.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales and revenue goals.
- Experience developing and executing sales or go-to-market strategies.
- Experience working with OEM customers in construction, agriculture, heavy equipment, or related mobile equipment markets is preferred.
- Experience supporting and developing distribution channels is preferred.
- Experience managing a multi-state sales territory is preferred.

- Strong understanding of mobile equipment, embedded systems, or electronic control solutions.
- Demonstrated sales leadership, strategic thinking, and go-to-market planning abilities.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate sales performance, pipeline activity, market conditions, and growth opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Technical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic customer relationships and maintain a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to manage complex sales opportunities involving multiple customer and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, product management, marketing, operations, and other cross-functional partners.
- Ability to prioritize competing business needs and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results driven.
- Ability to travel extensively within a multi-state territory, generally 50% or more.
- Knowledge of CAN bus systems, controllers, displays, and machine programming control solutions is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is primarily sedentary, with prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer, using a telephone, participating in virtual meetings, or traveling by automobile or airplane. The employee may move from area to area and transport items such as a laptop computer, product samples, catalogs, or other sales materials. The position requires the ability to move through customer sites, including warehouses, manufacturing facilities, trade shows, and related industrial environments. The employee must be able to effectively communicate using company-issued devices such as a laptop computer, mobile phone, and other communication technology.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a remote, field-based role within the assigned region. While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee may be exposed to various indoor and outdoor environments, including temperature variances, humidity, dust, and noise. Frequent travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events is required. Overnight travel and work outside normal business hours may also be required based on customer and business needs.
